It is important to be able think on your feet in an interview, but equally, there are some questions that you can prepare for. Having a think about some of the common interview questions for your sector in advance can give you confidence going into your interview!

General

  • What can you bring to this role that other applicants cannot?
  • Describe an example of when you have overcome adversity
  • How would you sum up our company?
  • Who would you say are our main competition?
  • Why did you apply for this role?
  • What would you hope to achieve in this role?
  • Give an example of where you have demonstrated X soft skill. (Could be leadership, teamwork, problem solving, perseverance, etc)
  • What are your weaknesses?
  • Why do you want to work in this sector?
